Description

The ECO Tarpaulin is a durable, high-performance shelter fabric designed for long-term outdoor use. Made from a blend of virgin and recycled polyethylene (PE), it balances strength, waterproofing, and environmental responsibility — ideal for humanitarian, industrial, and field applications.

Designed for emergency shelters, field covers, roofing, and general protection, the ECO Tarpaulin combines strength, weather resistance, and eco-conscious design for sustainable field operations.

Specifications
  • Eco-Engineered Composition:
    Woven black HDPE fabric laminated on both sides with white LDPE coating. Contains at least 15% recycled PE, preferably from post-consumer waste, supporting a circular economy.
  • Durability & Lifespan:
    Retains full waterproof and protective properties for up to 4 years in extreme weather, with a 6-year minimum shelf life.
  • Tensile & Tear Strength:
    Warp ≥ 750 N, Weft ≥ 750 N (ISO 1421-1); Tear strength ≥ 150 N (ISO 4674).
  • UV & Environmental Resistance:
    Withstands 1500 hours of UV exposure (ASTM G53) with less than 5% loss of strength; resistant to mold, microorganisms, and cuts (EN 388).
  • Fixation & Reinforcement:
    Reinforced bands (75 mm wide) with 8 mm eyelets every meter for secure attachment. Welded seams maintain at least 50% of base fabric strength.
  • Weight & Sizes:
    Fabric weight 170 ± 10 g/m²; available in standard sizes 4×6 m, 4×10 m, 4×20 m, and 4×60 m, or customized upon request.
  • Flame & Opacity Performance:
    Fire-rated to EN 13823+A1, Class D, s2, d2; white-coated exterior with black core fibers ensuring full opacity and minimal light transmission (<5%).
  • Sustainability:
    Produced using recycled materials from verified sources; free from bromine and antimony flame retardants.
